Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patient mobility, function, and pain to create individualized care plans
• Develop and implement therapeutic exercise and manual therapy programs
• Monitor progress and adjust treatments to maximize patient outcomes
• Document evaluations and treatment sessions accurately in the electronic record
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and rehab team members to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and recovery goals
• Participate in team meetings and discharge planning to support seamless transitions

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license (required)
• Valid BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Clinical experience as a Physical Therapist; experience in outpatient/acute rehab is a plus
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in an interdisciplinary team
• Available for the contract period starting 2025-12-29 through 2026-03-30

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy or equivalent considered

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, and functional mobility
• Experience with patient assessment, goal setting, and progress documentation
• Familiarity with common rehab equipment and adaptive devices
• Proficient with electronic medical records and clinical documentation
• Ability to educate patients and caregivers in a clear, compassionate way
