Shift Type: Variable schedule (day or night shifts) depending on unit needs — Day shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM; Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; rotating 12-hour shifts
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage OB triage and outpatient testing with calm, expert assessment
- Provide comprehensive antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum nursing care in an LDRP setting
- Monitor and interpret fetal heart tracings using OBIX and EFM systems to keep moms and babies safe
- Deliver newborn nursery care and early family-centered education
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (EPIC) to ensure continuity
- Teach and empower patients and their support persons so they feel confident in care decisions
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate efficient, compassionate care
- Maintain required certifications and practice within the Oregon RN scope of practice
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years labor and delivery experience with current fetal heart monitoring (REQUIRED)
- BLS (AHA) certification (REQUIRED)
- NRP certification (REQUIRED)
- Experience with OBIX and EPIC highly preferred
- EFM and STABLE certifications highly preferred
- Oregon RN license: not required to be active at submission but must be willing to obtain
- Resume and recent skills checklist (within 1 year) required at submission
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)
- Current RN license or eligibility to obtain Oregon RN license
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in OB triage, outpatient testing, and LDRP nursing workflows
- Strong fetal heart monitoring and EFM interpretation skills
- Familiarity with OBIX fetal surveillance and EPIC electronic charting
- Competent in antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and nursery care
- Excellent patient teaching, documentation, and interdisciplinary communication
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced birth center environment
