Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living for residents
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes promptly to the nursing team
• Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility support
• Perform accurate and timely documentation of care and resident assessments
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Maintain infection control practices and a safe, clean environment for residents

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (T-CNA experience or certification is a plus)
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings preferred
• Comfort and ability to work night shifts on the posted schedule
• Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented with strong observational skills
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to meet facility orientation requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in resident personal care and assistance with ADLs
• Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs and basic observations
• Knowledge of infection control and safe handling/transfer techniques
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with an emphasis on resident dignity
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care environment
• Basic charting and documentation practices in a clinical setting
