Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in a skilled rehabilitation setting
- Perform thorough assessments and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately following facility protocols
- Document care, interventions and patient progress clearly and timely in the medical record
- Collaborate with therapists, physicians and family members to support each patient’s recovery goals
- Assist with admissions, discharges and care transitions to ensure continuity of care
- Adhere to infection control standards and contribute to a safe clinical environment
Qualifications
- Current LPN or RN license in good standing (Maryland licensure or compact/eligible)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Current immunizations and TB screening per facility policy
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing or Registered Nursing program
- LPN: Practical Nursing diploma or certificate; RN: ADN or BSN
Knowledge & Skills
- Clinical assessment and medication administration expertise
- Skilled with electronic charting and documentation best practices
- Familiarity with wound care, IV basics (as applicable), and rehab nursing principles
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compassionate care
- Effective teamwork, time management and patient advocacy skills
