Roles & Responsibilities

• Support the cardiovascular team by preparing and assisting during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Assist with electrophysiology (EP) cases including device implants, LAAO procedures and complex ablations
• Operate and troubleshoot lab equipment (GE and Philips systems) and document care using MacLab & Meditech
• Maintain sterile field and ensure procedural safety and infection control standards are met
• Respond quickly to on-call cath lab needs and provide reliable coverage for urgent cases
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and the CV team to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care
• Contribute to efficient workflow by preparing supplies, maintaining inventory and supporting post-procedure patient care

Qualifications

• BLS required
• ACLS required
• Prior EP and/or Cath Lab experience (must have)
• Familiarity with Cath Lab and IR procedures including diagnostic cath, PCI/CTO and complex EP cases
• Comfortable working with MacLab and Meditech documentation systems
• Ability to respond to on-call assignments within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

• Cardiac catheterization and Cath Lab workflows
• Electrophysiology procedures including device implants, LAAO and complex ablations
• Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures and support
• Experience with GE and Philips imaging labs
• Proficiency with MacLab and Meditech EMR/documentation
• Strong sterile technique, patient monitoring and procedural safety skills
• On-call responsiveness and adaptability during high-acuity cases
