Shift Type: Rotating nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends (12-hour night shifts)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and stabilize patients in a fast-paced emergency department
- Lead and participate in resuscitations and trauma assists using established protocols
- Administer medications and advanced interventions safely and accurately
- Perform and interpret EKGs and monitor cardiac patients closely
- Provide behavioral health de-escalation and compassionate care for psychiatric patients
- Manage lines and rapid infuser devices during critical situations
- Document patient care accurately in MEDITECH and communicate effectively with the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and ancillary staff to deliver coordinated patient care
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (active and in good standing)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (emergency department experience preferred)
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS
- Comfort with trauma care and emergency procedures (central lines, airway support, rapid infuser) preferred
- Experience with MEDITECH is a plus
- CPI training and holding/inpatient experience are preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong emergency nursing and trauma care skills
- Proficient with MEDITECH electronic medical record workflows
- Ability to multitask in a high-acuity environment
- Skilled in patient assessment, EKG interpretation, and rapid decision making
- Familiarity with Alaris pumps, Belmont/Level 1 rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and de-escalation skills
