Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care for long-term care residents
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately following orders
- Monitor resident status, record observations, and escalate clinical concerns
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate medical records
- Support activities of daily living and promote resident dignity and independence
- Collaborate with the care team, families, and interdisciplinary staff to optimize outcomes
- Participate in required competency testing and maintain required certifications
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse credential (RN) — ability to verify license/certification required
- BLS certification required
- Experience or comfort working in long-term care settings preferred
- Completion of required Trinity competency screenings and respirator/fit testing
- Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings as listed (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap, Influenza, COVID-19, 2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Clear Trinity 10-panel drug screen and required physical/health statement
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of long-term care nursing practices and resident safety
- Skilled in medication administration and clinical assessment
- Familiarity with infection control and immunization requirements
- Comfortable with competency testing and specialty evaluations
- Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate resident care
- Attention to documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance
