Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care for long-term care residents
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately following orders
• Monitor resident status, record observations, and escalate clinical concerns
• Complete required documentation and maintain accurate medical records
• Support activities of daily living and promote resident dignity and independence
• Collaborate with the care team, families, and interdisciplinary staff to optimize outcomes
• Participate in required competency testing and maintain required certifications

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse credential (RN) — ability to verify license/certification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience or comfort working in long-term care settings preferred
• Completion of required Trinity competency screenings and respirator/fit testing
• Up-to-date immunizations and health screenings as listed (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap, Influenza, COVID-19, 2-step PPD or IGRA)
• Clear Trinity 10-panel drug screen and required physical/health statement

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of long-term care nursing practices and resident safety
• Skilled in medication administration and clinical assessment
• Familiarity with infection control and immunization requirements
• Comfortable with competency testing and specialty evaluations
• Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate resident care
• Attention to documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance
