Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care setting
• Perform thorough assessments and develop appropriate care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident needs
• Maintain infection control standards and follow required health screenings
• Complete Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists as required
• Verify and maintain required licenses and certifications

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania or eligible for verification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Experience or interest in long-term care or geriatric nursing
• Willingness to complete Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklist
• Ability to meet personal health requirements including TB screening, immunizations, and drug screen

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and documentation proficiency
• Knowledge of long-term care best practices and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable with electronic charting and standing clinical workflows
• Attention to detail with resident safety and infection prevention
