Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care setting
• Perform thorough assessments and contribute to individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document according to policy
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the medical record
• Collaborate with nursing staff, providers, and allied health professionals to optimize care
• Support infection prevention practices and ensure immunization and screening compliance
• Participate in competency testing and skills validation to maintain high standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (valid for practice) — license/certificate verification required
• Current BLS certification
• Experience or comfort working in Long-Term Care (LTC) settings preferred
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist as required
• Must meet health requirements: 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon), required immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19, Influenza) and physical/health statement
• Required pre-employment screenings: Trinity 10-panel drug screen, respirator evaluation, and fit test

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills for LTC populations
• Competence in medication administration and wound care basics
• Familiarity with infection control principles and vaccine requirements
• Comfortable learning and demonstrating Trinity-specific competencies
• Clear communication and teamwork skills with residents, families, and staff
• Accurate documentation and basic electronic health record familiarity
