Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care setting
- Assess residents’ clinical status and report changes to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Document assessments, interventions, and care plans in a timely manner
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Support residents and families with education and empathetic communication
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain required immunizations
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (state licensure required for practice)
- Experience or interest in long-term care (LTC) nursing
- Up-to-date immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19, Influenza
- Completed Physical/Health Statement as required
- Successful Trinity 10 Panel drug screen
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and resident care skills
- Medication administration and monitoring
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents, families, and team members
- Solid documentation practices and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a per diem/pool environment
- Familiarity with long-term care workflows and resident-centered approaches
