Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care setting
• Assess residents’ clinical status and report changes to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document assessments, interventions, and care plans in a timely manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Support residents and families with education and empathetic communication
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain required immunizations

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (state licensure required for practice)
• Experience or interest in long-term care (LTC) nursing
• Up-to-date immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19, Influenza
• Completed Physical/Health Statement as required
• Successful Trinity 10 Panel drug screen

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and resident care skills
• Medication administration and monitoring
• Clear, compassionate communication with residents, families, and team members
• Solid documentation practices and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a per diem/pool environment
• Familiarity with long-term care workflows and resident-centered approaches
