Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care setting
- Assess resident condition and communicate changes promptly to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Document care thoroughly and maintain accurate clinical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support care plans and transitions
- Participate in required competency testing and skills checklists to maintain high standards
- Adhere to infection control procedures and facility health requirements
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; license and certificate verification required
- Current BLS certification
- Experience or comfort working in Long-Term Care settings is preferred
- Ability to complete Trinity specialty specific competency testing and skills checklist
- Willingness to complete required health screenings and immunizations listed by the facility

- Long-term care best practices and resident-focused care
- Clinical assessment and basic nursing procedures
- Medication administration and documentation standards
- Infection prevention and use of respiratory protection
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt to variable shift assignments in a per diem pool
