Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care setting
• Perform accurate assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond to changes in condition promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document thoroughly
• Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team
• Communicate clearly with residents, families, and interdisciplinary staff to support excellent outcomes
• Follow infection prevention protocols and ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
• Participate in competency testing and skills validation to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (PA license verification required)
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Experience or comfort working in long-term care (LTC) settings preferred
• Completion of facility-required screenings and health records (e.g., PPD/IGRA, immunizations, physical)
• Ability to complete Trinity specialty competency testing, skills checklist, and 10-panel drug screen as part of onboarding

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of long-term care nursing practices and resident-focused care
• Proficiency in medication administration and clinical documentation
• Skills in care planning, wound care basics, and monitoring chronic conditions
• Familiarity with infection control, immunization requirements, and TB screening
• Good communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
• Comfort with competency testing processes and following standardized checklists
