Shift Type: Per Diem Pool - variable shifts (typically 8- or 12-hour). Examples include 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, and 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Schedule includes days, evenings, nights and weekends; flexible availability required.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered direct care to assisted living residents
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
- Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to nursing staff
- Accurately document care, observations and resident interactions in the chart
- Support a safe, clean and dignified living environment for residents
- Participate in required competency testing and on-boarding processes
- Communicate respectfully and effectively with residents, families and the interdisciplinary team
Qualifications
- Current CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification in good standing
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Ability to complete License/Certificate Verification and Trinity competency testing
- Must meet health requirements: Fit Test, 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-Spot), MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination as required
- Successful completion of Trinity 10-panel drug screen and physical/health statement
- Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work per-diem assignments
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Current CNA certification required
- BLS certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong resident care fundamentals and assisted living standards
- Infection control best practices and proper use of PPE
- Basic charting and documentation skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
- Compassion, patience and a commitment to resident dignity
