Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in resident condition to the clinical team
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and lifting equipment
• Follow individualized care plans and document care accurately and timely
• Support infection prevention practices and adhere to facility health requirements
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team to promote resident comfort and dignity
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and participate in shift handoffs to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (state-issued)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Ability to pass Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and License/Certificate Verification
• Up-to-date health requirements: Fit Test, 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-Spot), influenza vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and COVID-19 vaccine as required
• Negative Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen and completed Physical/Health Statement
• Completion of Trinity Respirator Evaluation and Trinity Color Vision testing where applicable
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
