Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care as a valued member of the care team
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and document vital signs and report significant changes to nursing staff
• Support safe infection control practices and follow facility protocols
• Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing and maintain required competencies
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient experience

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required) and active license/certificate verification
• BLS certification (required)
• Willingness to complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing
• Ability to complete required health screenings and immunizations: Fit Test, 2-step PPD or IGRA, Influenza vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine
• Ability to pass Trinity 10 Panel drug screen and Trinity respirator evaluation and color vision checks
• Comfort working per diem and adapting quickly to different unit workflows

Education

• CNA certification required
• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Basic patient care and safe transfer techniques
• Infection prevention and standard precautions
• Accurate vital signs collection and documentation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow facility policies, competency checklists, and safety protocols
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
