Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) to support resident dignity
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Monitor and document resident observations, including vital signs and behavior changes, accurately and promptly
• Follow individualized care plans and communicate changes to the nursing team to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists to maintain quality standards
• Maintain infection control practices and adhere to facility policies and health requirements

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• License/certificate verification and successful completion of Trinity 10-panel drug screen
• Up-to-date immunizations or documentation (2-step PPD or IGRA, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19, Influenza)
• Physical/health statement and Trinity color vision check as part of onboarding
• Previous CNA experience preferred; open to per diem CNAs comfortable working in long-term care settings

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong resident-centered care and infection control practices
• Comfortable performing ADLs and safe patient handling techniques
• Clear, compassionate verbal communication and teamwork
• Accurate charting and attention to detail for documentation
• Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced per diem environment
• Willingness to complete competency testing and follow facility-specific protocols
