Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs, and promptly report changes to the nursing team
• Support infection prevention practices and adhere to PPE and fit-test requirements
• Demonstrate competency by performing tasks on the Trinity Skills Checklist
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care
• Participate in required health screenings, immunizations, and competency checks
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to promote patient comfort and safety

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (state-approved) or eligibility to hold one
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Successful License/Certificate Verification as required
• Completion of Trinity Skills Checklist
• Ability to pass Fit Test and Trinity respirator evaluation
• Ability to pass Trinity 10-panel drug screen, TB testing (2-step PPD or IGRA), and required immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19, Influenza)
• Reliable, patient-focused attitude and comfort working in a per-diem/pool environment

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of a state-approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills including ADLs and safe patient handling
• Proficiency in taking and reporting vital signs accurately
• Knowledge of infection control practices and PPE use
• Clear, compassionate communication and effective teamwork
• Accurate documentation and good time management
• Comfort with competency-based checklists and clinical testing processes
