Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care for older adults, assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Help with safe transfers and mobility support to reduce fall risk
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes promptly
- Assist with meals and dietary needs while encouraging dignity and independence
- Support meaningful social engagement and therapeutic activities for residents
- Document care accurately and communicate clearly with the clinical team
- Follow infection control, safety protocols and facility policies to protect residents and staff
Qualifications
- Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) or equivalent state certification
- Current BLS/CPR preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Comfortable working with older adults, including those with dementia or mobility limitations
- Ability to pass required background checks, health screenings and immunization requirements
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing respectful, person-centered care
Education
- Completion of a certified GNA program or equivalent; high school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) support and resident hygiene
- Basic vital signs measurement and documentation skills
- Familiarity with safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Understanding of infection control practices and personal protective equipment
- Good observational skills to notice changes in condition and escalate appropriately
- Ability to work calmly in fast-paced long-term care settings
