Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Support safe transfers, mobility, and fall prevention while promoting independence
• Take and document vital signs and observe changes in condition, reporting concerns promptly
• Help create comfortable, dignified experiences for residents during personal care routines
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to follow care plans and deliver excellent patient-centered care
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (T-CNA accepted)
• Travel CNA experience is a plus and welcomed
• Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Current basic life support (BLS) preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding) and resident mobility
• Comfortable charting and documenting observations accurately
• Understanding of infection control, patient safety, and dignity-focused care
• Good time management, prioritization, and teamwork skills
• Empathy, patience, and the ability to build rapport with residents and families
