Shift Type: Night shifts (schedule varies), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting with dignity
- Provide compassionate bedside care and consistent observation to support resident safety
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report any changes to nursing staff
- Support mobility and restorative care programs to help residents maintain independence
- Document care tasks and resident status clearly in the medical record
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists and families to deliver person-centered care
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) or CNA certification required
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Current immunizations and health screenings as required by facility
- Comfort working night shifts and supporting older adults with patience and empathy
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Prior experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- GNA/CNA certification from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic geriatric care principles and ADL support
- Proficiency taking vital signs and recognizing changes in patient condition
- Familiarity with charting and basic documentation practices
- Infection prevention and safe patient handling techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to comfort residents and families
- Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
