Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $298 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings to guide patient care decisions
- Manage outpatient oncology visits, including diagnosis, treatment planning and follow-up
- Provide inpatient oncology care and rounding when assigned
- Manage bone marrow transplant-related patient needs and coordinate with transplant teams
- Oversee blood bank interactions and transfusion management as needed
- Order diagnostic tests and imaging and interpret results to inform treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage chemotherapy and other oncology medications in accordance with protocols
- Collaborate with APPs, nursing, pharmacy and supportive services to deliver high-quality care
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree required
- Board certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology (preferred)
- Active medical license in the U.S. with ability to obtain South Carolina licensure
- Experience with chemotherapy administration and oncology patient management
- Proficiency with EPIC or similar EMR for documentation and order entry
- Ability to participate in tumor board discussions and provide inpatient/outpatient coverage
Knowledge & Skills
- Medical Oncology and Hematology clinical expertise
- Chemotherapy administration and safety practices
- Bone marrow transplant patient management
- Blood bank/transfusion knowledge
- Inpatient and outpatient oncology workflows
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical record
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and imaging
- Strong communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
