Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with ADLs such as bathing, dressing and toileting
• Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to the clinical team
• Support safe mobility and fall prevention initiatives for each resident
• Assist with feeding, meal set-up and documentation of intake as required
• Maintain accurate and timely charting to support continuity of care
• Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to ensure a safe environment
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists and families to deliver individualized care plans

Qualifications

• Current LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant) certification
• CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings
• Comfortable working in long-term care or skilled nursing settings
• Dependable, professional attitude and strong teamwork skills

Education

• Completion of a state-approved nursing assistant training program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care techniques and ADLs
• Strong communication skills with residents, families and clinical staff
• Ability to take and document vitals and report concerns promptly
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
• Empathy, patience and strong observational skills
