Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to rehab patients, promoting independence and recovery
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor vitals to catch changes early
• Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and nursing teammates to create and follow individualized care plans
• Document patient status, interventions, and progress clearly in the medical record
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility while encouraging rehabilitation goals
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients and families

Qualifications

• Active LPN license for Maryland OR active RN license for Maryland (depending on which role you’re applying for)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Comfortable working the evening (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) shift
• Prior experience in a rehab or skilled nursing setting is a plus but motivated learners are welcome
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program for Licensed Practical Nurse roles
• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program for Registered Nurse roles

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and accurate documentation
• Patient assessment and monitoring of clinical status
• Familiarity with rehab nursing principles and restorative care
• Skilled at time management, prioritization, and patient-centered communication
• Proficient with electronic medical records and charting best practices
