Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and grooming in a respectful and dignified way
• Support safe mobility by assisting with transfers and positioning to prevent falls and discomfort
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team so care plans stay current
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to residents and families
• Document care delivered accurately and promptly to maintain high-quality records
• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols to protect residents and staff

Qualifications

• Active GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant)
• Comfortable working with older adults and supporting their independence
• Reliable, compassionate and able to communicate clearly with residents and team members
• Willingness to work the evening shift and adapt to facility procedures
• Ability to complete facility onboarding requirements such as background check and health screening as required

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• GNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assistance with ADLs and resident personal care
• Basic patient observation and reporting skills
• Familiarity with infection control practices and safe patient handling
• Good documentation and time management skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset
