Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (days may vary / schedule subject to facility needs)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
- Monitor resident condition and promptly report changes to nursing staff
- Support mobility and fall-prevention measures to keep residents safe
- Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with the care team
- Help create a warm, home-like environment and engage residents in daily routines
Qualifications
- Valid GNA / Geriatric Nursing Assistant certification (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or able to obtain promptly
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and working with an interdisciplinary team
- Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused approach to resident care
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an approved GNA or nursing assistant training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of geriatric care principles and ADL assistance
- Basic infection control and safety practices
- Accurate documentation and observational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time on a busy night shift
