Shift Type: Night, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (NOC)

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Assist residents with mobility and safe transfers, using proper body mechanics
- Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly
- Record accurate documentation of care, resident status, and meal intake
- Support dining and feeding assistance, including special dietary needs
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote resident dignity and quality of life
Qualifications
- Valid GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required per facility policy
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
- Up-to-date immunizations per facility requirements
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, resident-centered approach
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited GNA program or equivalent certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
- Skilled in ADLs support and safe transfer techniques
- Familiarity with infection prevention and control practices
- Basic vital signs monitoring and reporting
- Comfortable with documentation and charting (paper or electronic)
- Ability to work independently during night shift and escalate concerns appropriately
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills with residents and family members
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care setting
