Shift Type: Evening shift, Days vary (schedule determined by facility), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to geriatric residents
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor residents’ condition and promptly report changes to nursing staff
- Support mealtime assistance and ensure residents receive proper nutrition
- Maintain accurate resident documentation and handoff communication
- Observe infection control practices and promote a safe environment
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willing to obtain
- Prior experience caring for older adults or in a long-term care setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proof of required immunizations and background checks as per facility policy
- Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to delivering high-quality resident care
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in assisting with ADLs and mobility support
- Knowledge of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
- Basic understanding of documentation practices and patient charts
- Infection control, safety protocols, and equipment use
- Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills for resident-centered care
- Ability to follow care plans and receive direction from RNs/LPNs
