Shift Type: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (Night shift; specific days not specified)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) to promote residents' dignity
- Assist with safe transfers and mobility to reduce fall risk and support independence
- Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff promptly
- Document resident care, observations, and interventions accurately and timely
- Support mealtime assistance and ensure residents receive appropriate nutrition and hydration
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention protocols
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and communicate with families courteously
Qualifications
- Active GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) — Maryland certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Current CPR/BLS certification is recommended or obtainable upon hire
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility health/immunization requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills, compassion, and ability to work nights as scheduled
Education
- GNA certificate or state-recognized geriatric nursing assistant credential
- High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and personal care for older adults
- Basic vital signs and observation skills with reliable documentation
- Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling techniques
- Good communication skills for working with residents, families, and staff
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively on a night shift team
