Shift Type: 3x12-hour Night shifts (3 nights/week), 36 hrs/week, every other week (EOW). Night shift schedule; exact start/end times set by the facility.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care throughout labor, delivery and immediate postpartum
- Continuously monitor and interpret fetal monitoring strips to support safe outcomes
- Perform neonatal resuscitation and immediate newborn stabilization when needed
- Collaborate closely with obstetricians, anesthesia, pediatric teams and support staff for coordinated care
- Educate and support patients and families on labor progress, pain management options and postpartum care
- Document assessments, interventions and patient status accurately and promptly
- Serve as an advocate for patients’ birth preferences while ensuring safety and clinical best practices
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New Hampshire or Compact RN license required
- 2 years recent Labor & Delivery / OB experience required
- Fetal monitoring experience required
- Current BLS (AHA), NRP and AWHONN certifications required at time of submission
- BSN highly preferred
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification highly preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Recent supervisory-signed reference (from the past year) required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fetal monitoring interpretation and intrapartum assessment skills
- Skilled in active labor management and maternal/newborn assessment
- Proficiency in neonatal resuscitation (NRP) and emergency response
- Clear, compassionate patient and family education skills
- Accurate clinical documentation and charting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
