Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to develop individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility and function
• Monitor and document patient progress clearly and timely in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and injury prevention strategies
• Adjust treatment plans based on outcomes and communicate changes to the care team
• Support facility initiatives and participate in quality improvement efforts

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Physical Therapist license (ability to obtain North Carolina license prior to start required)
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; related graduate degree considered
• Prior acute, outpatient, or rehabilitation experience preferred — you bring great hands-on skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required or obtained upon hire
• Strong documentation skills and comfort using electronic medical records
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities; compassion and professionalism are a must

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred; or Master’s/Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy where applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient evaluation, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy and modalities
• Proficient in developing measurable goals and progress-driven treatment plans
• Knowledge of safe patient handling and movement techniques
• Ability to educate patients and families effectively and empathetically
• Comfortable working with a variety of diagnoses across the continuum of care
• Good time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical environment
