Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat acute inpatient patients to restore mobility and functional independence
- Create individualized treatment plans that reflect best practices and patient goals
- Deliver specialty care across the lifespan, from pediatrics through geriatrics
- Use advanced equipment like underwater treadmills and conduct wheelchair fittings when indicated
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and rehab team members to coordinate seamless care
- Document clinical findings and progress clearly and promptly in the medical record
- Educate patients and families to support safe transitions and ongoing recovery
- Travel between Corvallis and Albany sites as needed to meet patient demand
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Oregon Physical Therapy license
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience or comfort working in acute care/inpatient settings preferred
- Ability to travel between multiple care sites (Corvallis and Albany)
- Weekend availability and willingness to work day shifts
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Education
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MPT, or equivalent) required
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and discharge planning
- Experience with neurological rehabilitation, lymphedema care, and wheelchair fitting
- Familiarity with acute care workflows and documentation in electronic health records
- Comfort with pediatric through geriatric populations and varied acuity levels
- Ability to safely manage complex patients in a level 2 trauma center environment
- Time management, clinical reasoning, and patient/family education skills
