Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care for residents of Bel-Aire Center
• Perform thorough patient assessments and implement appropriate care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members and families
• Document patient status, interventions and outcomes clearly and timely
• Support continuity of care during transitions and handoffs between shifts
• Participate in unit initiatives to improve resident experience and outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) — travel clinicians welcome
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred or required by many facilities
• Clinical experience in long-term care, skilled nursing or similar settings is a strong plus
• Ability to pass facility onboarding and background checks for travel assignments
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, ASN or BSN for RNs; approved practical nursing program for LPNs)

Knowledge & Skills

• Resident assessment and care planning with attention to detail
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• IV skills and wound care experience appreciated where applicable
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with residents, families and staff
