Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients during 12.5-hour day shifts
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and in a timely manner
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes clearly and professionally
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate individualized patient plans
• Support safe patient transitions and handoffs with clear communication
• Maintain infection control, safety standards, and facility policies at all times
• Adapt quickly to new clinical environments and mentor or assist permanent staff when needed

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license (current and in good standing) — New Mexico license preferred or compact where applicable
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Clinical experience in a relevant acute care or long-term care setting preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
• Ability to pass facility onboarding, background checks, and required screenings

Education

• LPN: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals and safe medication administration
• Experience with electronic medical records and timely documentation
• Comfortable with assessments, IV/medication checks, and basic wound care
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm in fast-paced situations
• Teamwork mindset and a customer-service approach to patient care
