Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (Night shift, specific days scheduled by facility)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to geriatric residents, supporting dignity and comfort
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
- Monitor residents, take and document vital signs, and promptly report changes to nursing staff
- Support rehabilitation and mobility programs under guidance of the care team
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in resident charts and care logs
- Follow infection control protocols and promote a safe, clean environment
- Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) or equivalent; eligible applicants considered
- CPR/BLS certification required or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Preferred: prior long-term care or rehab experience supporting older adults
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, TB screening, and required immunizations
- Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
Education
- High school diploma or GED required; completion of an approved GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and understanding geriatric care needs
- Ability to take and accurately document vital signs and basic assessments
- Strong communication skills for interacting with residents and care teams
- Knowledge of infection prevention, resident safety, and reporting procedures
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments and changing resident needs
