Shift Type: Night shift (schedule varies), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect
- Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to the nursing team to ensure timely interventions
- Provide safe, compassionate bedside care focused on comfort and quality of life for geriatric patients
- Support mobility and fall prevention efforts by assisting with transfers and safe ambulation
- Document care provided and resident responses accurately in the medical record
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and family members to deliver person-centered care plans
Qualifications
- Valid GNA certification (required)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience working with geriatric or rehabilitative patients preferred
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively on a night-shift care team
- Compassionate bedside manner and commitment to resident dignity and safety
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
- Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
- Familiarity with infection control and universal precautions
- Teamwork, time management, and reliable clinical observation skills
