Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients comprehensively to identify functional limitations and set meaningful goals
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and prevent disability
• Administer therapeutic interventions and physical agents with clinical precision
• Document progress clearly and communicate care plans with the interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families to maximize independence and safe transitions of care
• Collaborate with nursing and medical teams to coordinate acute inpatient rehabilitation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required (Master’s or Doctorate preferred)
• Unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — may be obtained upon hire if needed
• Preferred: 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist (acute/inpatient experience a plus)
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
• Ability to safely function in high-elevation environments (position requires working at ~8,000 ft)

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy (required)
• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient evaluation and treatment planning for acute care populations
• Experience with inpatient care workflows and acute physical therapy treatment administration
• Strong documentation, clinical reasoning, and patient education skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines in a fast-paced hospital setting
• Comfort managing medically complex patients and adapting treatment to acuity
