Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients on your unit
• Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, and document changes accurately
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
• Respond quickly to clinical changes and escalate concerns to providers when needed
• Maintain charting and documentation to meet regulatory and facility standards

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license valid in New Mexico (compact license holders acceptable if applicable)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred or as required by unit
• Clinical experience in acute care or relevant specialty is a plus
• Ability to pass facility credentialing and background checks before start
• Professional communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Graduate or diploma programs for licensed practical nurses may be considered if applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Proficient charting and documentation practices
• Comfort working night shifts and managing time during longer shifts
• Teamwork, adaptability, and patient-centered care mindset
