Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, escalating changes promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Perform thorough assessments and create clear, timely nursing documentation
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and follow-up care
• Maintain infection control standards and promote a safe care environment

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in good standing (New Mexico licensure or appropriate compact privileges)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications a plus
• Clinical experience in acute care or similar settings preferred
• Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a team-first attitude
• Ability to pass facility onboarding and credentialing for travel assignments

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN diploma or RN ADN/BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and accurate charting
• Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation best practices
• IV therapy and basic wound care skills
• Time management, prioritization, and teamwork in fast-paced environments
• Patient and family education with clear, compassionate communication
