Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Perform focused assessments and promptly communicate changes to the care team
- Document care thoroughly and maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Assist with activities of daily living and support resident comfort and dignity
- Collaborate with RNs, therapists, and facility staff to deliver coordinated care
- Participate in care planning and quality improvement efforts to enhance outcomes
Qualifications
- Current LPN license or LPN/LVN credential in New Mexico or eligibility for state licensure
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Previous experience as an LPN preferred, especially in long term care or rehab settings
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Education
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN) program
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic nursing treatments
- Resident assessment, vital signs, and documentation best practices
- Infection control and wound care fundamentals
- Familiarity with electronic medical record charting
- Strong time management, prioritization, and teamwork skills
- Empathy, patient-centered care, and clear communication with families
