Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight hours
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings clearly and promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with facility policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate effective care plans
• Respond promptly to patient needs and prioritize interventions for positive outcomes
• Educate patients and families with clarity and empathy to support recovery and discharge

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) classification listed for this opening — active licensure preferred
• Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) — meet your state’s licensing requirements
• Clinical experience in inpatient settings or related nursing practice is a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently on overnight shifts
• Willingness to take on a travel/contract assignment and adapt to a new team and facility

Education

• Completion of an accredited nursing program (LPN diploma or RN diploma/degree preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and monitoring during overnight care
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Basic clinical procedures and infection control standards
• Ability to triage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Team collaboration and clear handoff communication between shifts
