Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents with respect and dignity
• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Support rehabilitation activities in coordination with therapy staff
• Monitor and document resident status, behavior, and any changes in condition
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
• Communicate clearly and professionally with families and the interdisciplinary care team
• Participate in shift handoffs and accurate charting to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active GNA certification or equivalent required
• Experience working with geriatric or rehab populations preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and any required health screenings
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered mindset

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; GNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and mobility support
• Familiarity with basic documentation and charting
• Infection control and safe patient handling practices
• Clear communication and teamwork skills
