Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients during the night shift
• Assess patient condition, develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document all care accurately
• Monitor patient status closely and escalate changes to the interdisciplinary team
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and support staff to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions and follow-up
• Perform accurate shift handoffs and maintain thorough clinical documentation

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico (or LPN where applicable)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Previous acute care experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical training are welcome
• Ability to pass facility background checks and required onboarding screenings
• Comfort working independently overnight and as part of a team

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; nursing diploma or LPN certificate accepted where applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency with medication administration and IV therapy
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and documenting care
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families and care teams
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
