Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, mobility) with compassion and dignity
- Provide safe, person-centered care focused on comfort and independence
- Observe and report changes in residents' condition to the nursing team promptly
- Document care, intake/output, and vital signs accurately and timely
- Support the rehabilitation team and follow care plans to promote resident goals
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
- Collaborate with the care team and families to create a warm, respectful atmosphere
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) or equivalent per state requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Proof of required immunizations and TB screening as per facility policy
- Background check and clear health screenings as required for placement
- Comfort working with geriatric populations and residents with varying care needs
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) support and safe resident handling
- Familiarity with infection control practices and resident safety standards
- Ability to take and record vital signs and observe clinical changes
- Basic charting and documentation skills (electronic or paper charting)
- Good interpersonal skills for working with residents, families, and staff
- Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs during shifts
