Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (12.5-hour night shift; schedule varies — contact recruiter for exact days)

Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients during the night shift
- Administer medications and document treatments accurately and timely
- Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, and report changes to the care team
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
- Perform wound care, catheter care, and other skilled nursing procedures as required
- Maintain clear, professional EMR documentation and handoffs for continuity of care
- Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions with empathy
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — eligible to work in New Mexico
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications a plus
- Comfortable working 12+ hour night shifts and able to prioritize in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Previous long-term care or hospital experience preferred but we welcome motivated travel nurses
Education
- Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent (LPN program completion)
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Skilled in wound care, IV monitoring basics, and post-op care tasks as applicable
- Proficient with electronic medical records and accurate charting
- Excellent clinical judgment, time management, and teamwork abilities
