Shift Type: Days to be confirmed, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to geriatric patients, assisting with daily living activities
- Assist the rehab team with mobility support and safe patient transfers
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient status with attention to detail
- Document care provided and report changes promptly to nursing staff
- Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients and families
- Communicate respectfully and clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Participate in patient care planning and follow-through to help achieve rehab goals
Qualifications
- Active GNA certification (required)
- Experience in geriatric, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings preferred
- Ability to pass background checks and health screenings required by the facility
- Comfortable performing physical aspects of patient care and safe transfer techniques
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- GNA certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of ADLs (activities of daily living) and geriatric care needs
- Basic vital sign measurement and documentation skills
- Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
- Ability to follow care plans and verbal/written instructions accurately
- Compassion, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy rehab setting
