Shift Type: Days to be confirmed, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents, helping with bathing, grooming and ADLs
- Assist with safe transfers and mobility support to promote independence
- Monitor vital signs and observe changes in condition, reporting concerns promptly
- Document care accurately and clearly in the resident record
- Support restorative and rehab activities under the direction of clinical staff
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists and family members to deliver person-centered care
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification or equivalent required
- Valid state-specific nursing assistant certification or ability to obtain one
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Comfort working with older adults in a rehab/long-term care setting
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Background checks and health screening clearance as required by facility
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GNA certification (required)
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of geriatric care principles and common age-related conditions
- Basic clinical skills: taking vitals, assisting with ADLs, safe patient handling
- Familiarity with infection control and safety standards
- Good documentation and observation skills
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and work within a multidisciplinary team
