Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on assigned unit
• Assess and monitor patient condition, intervene appropriately, and escalate when needed
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge plans
• Respond to emergency situations with calm, evidence-based action
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the charting system
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (LPN candidates may be considered depending on facility needs)
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS preferred or available
• Current immunizations and health screening per facility policy
• Comfortable working night shifts and in fast-paced acute care environments
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Completion of an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and charting accuracy
• Familiarity with common acute care procedures and monitoring
• Ability to prioritize and multitask while maintaining compassionate care
• Effective teamwork and clear handoff communication
• Basic electronic medical record (EMR) navigation and documentation skills
