Shift Type: Days vary, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff promptly
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe patient handling to promote independence
- Perform accurate, timely documentation in the patient chart and communicate updates with the care team
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention protocols
- Support rehabilitative and restorative care plans under nursing direction
- Build positive relationships with patients and families through clear, kind communication
- Respond calmly and effectively during urgent situations and follow established protocols
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (Pennsylvania preferred or eligible to obtain)
- Completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant training program
- Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Reliable transportation and punctuality for assigned shifts
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in patient hygiene, feeding, and toileting assistance
- Proficient with taking and recording vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with basic charting and documentation practices
- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with nurses and families
- Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
