Shift Type: Evening (2nd) shift, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM; includes weekends required; specific weekdays vary by assignment
Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents, promoting safety and dignity
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
- Assess, monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes promptly
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate individualized care plans
- Perform wound care, dressing changes and basic procedures as needed
- Support resident and family education about care, medications and follow-up
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records and shift reports
Qualifications
- Active LPN license (must be eligible to practice in the assignment state)
- Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain prior to start
- Demonstrated experience in long-term care or similar clinical setting preferred
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends as required by the schedule
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively on a travel assignment
Education
- Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program and active LPN licensure
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation best practices
- Basic wound care and infection control procedures
- Vital signs assessment and clinical observation skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and charting
- Ability to prioritize, multitask and provide compassionate resident-centered care
- Team collaboration and clear communication with clinical staff and families
