Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care including bathing, dressing and mobility assistance
- Measure and document vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
- Assist with activities of daily living to promote patient comfort and dignity
- Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect patients and staff
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and follow infection control protocols
- Communicate clearly with nurses, families, and care team members to ensure coordinated care
- Document care activities in the chart promptly and accurately to support continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (state-appropriate) in good standing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and meet facility immunization requirements
- Compassionate bedside manner and strong teamwork skills
- Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care experience preferred but new CNAs are welcome
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program completion and active certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and infection prevention practices
- Comfortable taking and recording vital signs and observing changes in patient condition
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff
- Familiarity with patient safety, mobility assistance, and proper body mechanics
- Basic documentation skills and attention to detail
